It's great that the DOJ is going after the Texas and NC voter laws, but...

if they end up in a court with a Reagan or Bush judge or even the SCOTUS, what is to stop these laws from being upheld.
I fear we are in for a long period of voter discrimination until we have a full Dem Congress and Presidency to re-enact the Voting Rights Act in a SCOTUS proof way.

Simply because it was written in a way that is too easy to comply with.

Even the best plaintiff the NAACP could come up with to challenge the case, when I look at it, doesn't have much cause to claim damage. They are saying she has a different spelling of her name on the voter rolls and her state issued ID, and it will be burdensome to get the ID changed. But it turns out since the state issued the ID, they will change the voter rolls to match what it says with no hassle.

We need better people with standing to sue to stop it, or we can't show cause to.
