5 Draft dodging Republican Supreme Court judges kill voting rights for many veterans.

The recent gutting of the Voting Rights Act will disproportionately effect millions of African Americans and Hispanic citizens. Many of these affected are veterans who served their country during a time of war. Some are decorated and courageous heroes. Some left limbs and other body parts on foreign soil fighting for our country. Some became disabled for life fighting for our country. They could now lose their constitutional right to vote based on a decision by 5 republican draft dodgers on the United States Supreme Court.

When I was drafted during Vietnam one of the African American drill sergeants was a combat veteran of both Korea and Vietnam. He was a Purple Heart recipient and would be in his 80s today. Imagine if he is in a wheel chair w/o a DL or passport living in Texas, North Carolina, or some other fascist republican state with these new voter ID laws. Imagine him going to the polls to vote and a republican poll worker who was a draft dodging rich kid from the '60s says NO!

John Roberts was born in 1955. I don't believe he was ever eligible for the draft. Thomas reported for his medical exam and failed the physical with a curved spine. Alito was in the army signal core. Scalia and kennedy would have been prime meat for the draft in the late 1950's, but I don't see anything other than usual college deferments. If I understand correctly, there were not all that many draftees in those years.

Which ones are the draft dodgers?
