Republicans Bar CNN, NBC From 2016 GOP Primary Debates

Yep, they did it. NBC hasn’t even produced its Hillary Clinton biopic yet, while CNN’s is in production now but will not be released until some time in 2014. And nobody knows yet whether those productions about Clinton will even be very favorable toward the possible candidate.

But don’t let that stop the Republican party from threatening what it considers “liberal” news outlets by barring them from the debates. And so, the RNC just voted that “CNN and NBC anchors will just have to watch on their competitors’ networks” as GOP Chair Reince Priebus declared.

~snip~

Go, GOP, go. Right into oblivion.[/div class="excerpt"]

sure how this action would play into their pipe-dreams of "broadening the base".

Less crazy exposure, The 2012 clown show killed them, they are not ready to repeat that. I am thinking their plan is to limit exposure to the wackos until they have a nominee. Crazy sound bites are one of our best weapons on the left, look for them to crack down and tell everyone to shut up till after election day.

petty and cowardly though.

not really sure how this is such a bad thing for us.

trust, they will give us plenty of crazy.. you don't need a debate for that.. just look at the last election..

Networks like CNN and NBC bust their asses in debates to ask questions that show Republicans as somewhat sane. Remember, there was all sorts of poo-pooing of Candy Crowley when she confirmed Romney was wrong about Benghazi.

So moving the debate elsewhere would be good for actually showing the crazy. Put it on Fox with Limbaugh as moderator. Plenty will see it, and boy will The Crazy be on display.

will still cover soundbites that are stupid and senseless. CNN and NBC will still cover them wether they are on their networks or not and I'm sure that they will run the mean and hateful things the GOP debaters say and do. They will also show the GOP handpicked audience cheering mean and hateful things the GOP creeps say and do. It will be even worse because it will be only the worst of all sound bites, and if NBC and CNN are smart the soundbites will be taken out of context!

That would be the sensible thing to do, not feed the whiny conservative drama queens. Of course they'll never do it. They LIVE to feed their conservative masters.
