Christof Lehmann (nsnbc) ,- Abdola Al-Jaledi, a former high-ranking member of the Jabhat al-Nusrah front has revealed on his Twitter account @abo_almonthir, that his Jabhat al-Nusrah colleagues are in possession of chemical weapons, reports the independent Syrian Dampress Online Journal.
A former member of the al-Qaeda associated, foreign-backed Jabhat al-Nusrah front which is fighting the Syrian Armed Forces in an attempt to oust the Syrian government to establish an Islamic Sharia state, has admitted that Jabhat al-Nusrah is in possession of chemical weapons, to be used in attacks in Syria.
The Syrian Dampress Online Journal reports, that the Saudi Arabian terrorist, Abdola al-Jaledi has recently revealed on his Twitter account, @abo_almonthir, that his colleagues are storing toxic agents.
Al-Jaledi, who is a former, high-ranking member of the Jabhat al-Nusrah has reportedly left the al-Nusrah to continue fighting with another, also al-Qaeda associated brigade.
On his Twitter account, Al-Jaledi apparently said: If it was not for confidentiality on this matter, I would reveal who was the fighter who made the said chemical bombs.

Listen I see a lot of pointing fingers
But al-Qaeda is fighting against the Syrian Government. We are also looking at a proxy war between
Iran and Saudia Arabia. Take each story
with a grain of salt as with this one and others you see
There is a propaganda war going on so
be careful. Do I take this story credible?
Well just as much as I do from other stories and other players in this terrible conflict.
Yes I know the link may be suspect but real news from the middle east is not known to be reliable and have their own agendas.
I do know right now the UN inspectors are under target from somebody in Damascus.

(5,455 posts)Use of military grade nerve gas should have resulted in far more deaths then has been reported. So if the reporting is accurate, either military grade nerve gas wasn't used or it was diluted and I can think of no reason for the Syrian government to dilute the nerve gas, so that leaves "homemade" nerve gas as the most logical explanation I can think of.

(36,988 posts)In early December, the Al Nusrah Front and allied foreign Islamist battalions seized Sheikh Suleiman base, or Base 111, in Aleppo after a months-long siege. The military facility is rumored to be involved in the Assad regime's chemical weapons program. The base "contained a clandestine scientific research whose purpose was unknown even to the rank and file," AFP reported in late November, based on a claim from a soldier who defected. [See LWJ report, Al Nusrah Front, foreign jihadists seize key Syrian base in Aleppo.]
On May 30 this year, the Turkish media reported that 12 individuals from the al Qaeda-linked Al Nusrah Front had been captured in antiterror operations in Adana, along with a total of two kilos (4,5 lb) of sarin gas. Five of the 12 suspects were later released. [See Threat Matrix report, Reports claim Al Nusrah Front members in Turkey were planning sarin gas attacks.]
And in early June, the Iraqi military broke up an al Qaeda in Iraq cell in Baghdad that was seeking to manufacture chemical weapons. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (formerly al Qaeda in Iraq), one of two al Qaeda affiliates that operate in Syria, is the dominant rebel force in Syria, along with the Al Nusrah Front, which is also an al Qaeda group. Who knows who used the sarin
it could have been the government but also the rebels took over a government base back in july/August.. where sarin could have been stored.

I say either side could have used the gas
but always look at the strategic, tactual and propaganda goals

Yes, I read the articles, to say they're inconclusive would be being kind about it.
We don't have the information to come to a conclusion. period.
