Now I know how Mrs. Duggar feels...here's the latest 5-week-old kitten

Here she is after the first day...very skinny...she went into the trap where I was catching ferals for fixing...she had just gotten washed a little (see the back legs) because she pooped and walked all over it.

Here she is this weekend with the others enjoying the view. Blue, the youngest (after her) took to her the best, and plays with her. Blue is only 3 months old now, and she looks like a monster next to the new one. Ashley is uncertain...she loves him, and cuddles with him, but those times don't last long because she soon tries to nurse off him, so he gets up and walks away.

Here's the whole group without her. Anyway, the Humane Society said they can take her into their program, and, a la Duggers, I am very attached to her and thinking of keeping her. If nothing else, I will foster her so she doesn't need to be in a cage and take her to the adoption days. She's not ready yet, very small and only 12 or so ounces. Also, I have her on antibiotics because she was wheezing, but that is gone but I need to finish the course. And as you can see in some places, her hair hasn't quite come in...but it's starting to now that she's getting food and replacement milk regularly...she has a good appetite and has lots of energy, but is still too darn skinny!

You KNOW you want to. And what's one more? (Says the crazy cat lady with 6 cats.)

So the transition would be easy enough...and, of course, since I have to hold onto her for a couple more weeks, I'm only going to get more attached!

I had a male tabby whose precious face and beautiful blue eyes saved his life.

We recently added two kittens that we previously fostered. They're brothers and we just can't separate them. I know how you feel about wanting to keep her.

One more really doesn't make a difference!

Great pics!
