(Would love to take credit for the catch, but Slate www.slate.com has the story up - I tried to watch the performance by Miley, and couldn't; yikes! I'm getting old. sigh.)

As she is straightening back up it rolls off her (seemingly prehensile) tongue.

Once you notice it the clip becomes car-crash mesmerizing.

*NSYNC reunited for 2.5 minutes which is as long as they can stand each other.
Also nice to see their rehab schedules work out so they could all be there to watch Justin sing.

The choreographer comes up with the dance skit, dancers just practice and perform.

It's really not what most folks thinks is was.

Embedded in its context, what looked like frightened awe is revealed to be simply a still shot of the family kinda-enjoying Gaga’s performance. The open-mouth gasps were actually gum chewing, and what appeared to be one onlooker covering her mouth in disbelief was just her scratching her face.
