Elizabeth Warren joins with MAIG to urge congress to pass tougher laws
BOSTON - U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren is joining fellow Sen. Edward Markey, Boston Mayor Thomas Menino and the families of gun violence victims to press for tougher national gun laws.
The Wednesday rally at Faneuil Hall will call on Congress to pass stricter background checks for gun buyers.
Backers of tougher gun laws are hoping Congress will again take up a bill that would expand background checks to include gun shows and online sales.
