Watch Cirque du Soleil’s Academy Award Performance

During Sunday’s Oscar telecast, Canadian aerial specialists Cirque du Soleil jumped, flipped, and flew across the stage in a tribute to the movie-going experience. They were introduced by Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy, and, after the gravity-defying performance, host Billy Crystal joked that, with puppets and acrobats, “we’re just a pony away from a Bar Mitzvah.”

2. That was good. This was the first time I've seen blown trick. One acrobat missed a landing. He was

behind other acrobats, so it wasn't too noticeable to the TV viewer, but the audience probably caught it. Still it was ass kicking.

12. For our annual company party I and my family enjoyed a night out at the cirque.

We were treated to cirque du soleil atlanta cavalia in 2009

and to cirque du soleil atlanta ovo in 2010

Cavalia was my favorite but if you get a chance to attend any of their shows, I highly recommend going.
