My reaction to that bunch is that a number of them paint Obama as being an idiot, which I think is the furthest thing from the truth.

I think Obama has been completely incoherent in articulating his Syria plans. And smart people make mistakes too. I look back on the Vietnam War, waged by 'the best and brightest" as the example. Obama is human, and can err. I think he has done so here. Time will tell if I am right or wrong.

Just what I have been thinking. No matter what the president does, the Repubs will get him.

Being involved in my third war gives me a little perspective in terms of the rashness, impetuosity, and hypocrisy in many (most?) political decisions. One could go on with adjectives...

It is more than President Obama's policy that creates this potential horror. It is the human condition. Why we bring violence and destruction to other humans is the subject of many theses. But we do, while dedicating vast amounts of resources and debt to the activity, as well as further degrading our environment.

Thanks!

Tells it better than most other cartoons.

We, meaning the world, do not need the United States starting another war intervention injecting itself into in the Middle East, yet again.
