Not everyone needs to be Highly Literate

There's no reason to crack on people for all grammatical and usage errors. (My spelling is pretty poor. I have no room to demand perfection.)

And I know that being a stickler has its limits. Future generations will increasingly use "enormity" to mean bigness and "fulsome" to mean full and I can't stop that from coming to pass.

That said, is it too much to ask that each major TV network have at least one fairly literate person on hand to glance at graphics before airing them?

CNN just did their bit where talking heads stride over a computer generated map like colossi (colossuses is also acceptable) while pontificating on Syria.

A graphic was revealed, in stages, showing the three types of targets we are considering bombing.

1) Technical Facilities
2) Rockets
3) Aircrafts

Aircrafts? Hmmm... I wonder how many sheeps could fit on all those aircrafts?
