a true progressive congress
in my entire life,and i was born under ike, i have never seen the population so ready for new voices. at this time i feel that a yam could run against a republican and win. i have never seen the level of disgust directed towards the republican party that i am seeing in my real life today. the jig is up, unless a miracle happens they are going to be stripped of both houses of congress,likely reduced to such an inconsequential minority as to make no difference on any vote.
at this time we need to find these voices. we need to force an onslaught of progressive candidates to put the dlc wing of the party sinking to its deserved grave.
now is the time people. if we ever expect the party to move back to the left now is the time to find the progressives and get behind them.
i am writing this from a red county in florida and i expect this district to get its first dem representative since about 30 years ago.
now is the time to stop typing and start working
we cant expect the party to support us until it owes us and our currency is our vote. find someone willing to work for yours and work for them

I can't tell because I live in Los Angeles where Republicans are relatively scarce.
Most everyone I know is liberal but that's not typical of most of the country.
It's good to hear that this kind of feeling is growing in the south.

now is the time for reasonable people to reason together
they all sit in DC and cry "partisan blockage" or "no bipartisan support"
well here is an issue with no needed partisan blocking and lots of bipartisan support
yet they plod on as if we are not watching and we don't have power
we do have power
we have the power to reject them at the voting booth and we are ripe for good honest men and women to step forward
America is ready to give a fair hearing to new voices and a lot of the old voices wont survive the primaries in their districts
I expect bill nelson to be sent home this term from my state but I think if that looks possible crist will run against him as a dem
he isn't and never has been but he will be allowed to do it anyways because its florida and we like our politics stupid
but many who are sitting on what they believe to be safe seats will get a rude awakening this election cycle and if we find and promote as many true progressive democrats as possible we stand a good chance of seeing them elected
this is going to effect the gop in the reverse and we will likely see the return of the more moderate (to you or me but liberal lite to the gop)republican
on either side those who convene the next congress will convene with a mandate from the American people
