Opportunism has a face.
A few minutes before Obama started speaking, Wolf Blitzer announced, as breaking news, that Senator Coburn had just called on the President to submit the Syria question to Congress.
I don't know the "tick-tock" on the story, but one wonders whether Coburn knew that was going to happen when he "called for" it. (Like Coburn has but to demand a thing and Obama runs out to the Rose Garden to fall in line.)
If Coburn knew before making his bold demand it's pretty funny, and scumtastic.
