As long as it's theirs.

I was just surprised to see Bernays mentioned here. There are some very smart folks here, but they get drowned out by the noise from the cheerleaders.

If it weren't for LBN's knack of getting information before the media, and posts from people like Octafish, I wouldn't even read this site anymore.

is bad all around. I wish it were just gone. The point is that they put it on the scroll right next to Martin Luther King Jr.'s memorial like "we really think black people are bad but we have to celebrate the Martin Luther King guy so we'll stick something negative up right next to it.

slide guitar is my deal and I am as good as anyone.

By 'They', I meant Fox idiots.

You are right on the money.

Is your name really Maraya?

If so, I think that is maybe the most beautiful name I have ever heard. It's poetic.

reminds me of an old joke. How many guitarists does it take to change a light bulb? Six. One to change the light bulb and five to stand around cynically and say, "I can do that."

I'm sure you're very good but your comment just brought that old joke to mine.

it was that nasty rock 'n' roll sung by degenerates like Elvis and Jerry Lee Lewis.

And dungarees. Oh, and white t shirts with the sleeves rolled up, and duck's ass hair styles. Then those long-haired hippie Beatles came along, and it was truly the end of the world.

In my day, it was heavy metal -- Don't Fear (the Reaper) was supposed to cause all the teenagers to commit suicide just by being in the same vicinity of anywhere it was played. Maybe it was only if you played it backwards. I forget.

My second son says I shouldn't hate all rap music, because a lot of it says the same things I say, about thinking, freedom, and so on. I guess. I just don't get into it. Like jazz, blues, swing, classic rock, beach music much better.
