Putin: Chemical Attack ‘Utter Nonsense,’ Obama Should Present His Evidence

Russian President Vladimir Putin told journalists Saturday it would be "utter nonsense" for Syrian president Bashar al-Assad to use a chemical weapons against the Syrian rebels, and that if President Obama had evidence of the attack, he should present it to the U.N., Reuters reported.

"I am convinced that it (the chemical attack) is nothing more than a provocation by those who want to drag other countries into the Syrian conflict, and who want to win the support of powerful members of the international arena, especially the United States," Putin said.

no kidding. for the record. I am pretty much leaning against us intervention right now. i go back and forth almost hourly. but I have found the posts here comparing Obama's position to Bush's lying us into war to be disingenous at best and disgusting at worst. Those bastards did gas a bunch of civilians and napalm a bunch of kids. They deserve to be attacked by us, I'm just not convinced it is the wisest move for us to make.
