Lets list all the known wars that were started on a lie

Please list the war and what lie or bogus attack was used to incite that war.

Not saying that the gas attack in Syria was false just saying we need to be skeptical and try to uncover all the facts because we and many countries have a track record of making shit up to get people behind a war.

Unlike Iraq, Vietnam, the Indian Wars, Mexican American War etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. .....

Also, the Revolutionary War comes to mind but I don't know the full history of what went down to the lead up.

Poppy Bush showed Saudi King doctored satellite photos with Saddam's armored divisions on the border.

At home, Poppy Bush showed Congress a weeping ambassador's daughter portraying a nurse who saw Kuwait General Hospital's babies dumped on the hospital's cold floor and their incubators whisked to Baghdad.

No one gave a darn until Poppy said Saddam was going to use nuclear weapons on America.

Of course, Poppy had to lie to Saddam, too, telling him the United States didn't care about "Arab-Arab border disputes."

Thatcher just blowing up the Belgrano was really stunning. Not too many people would have made that call with it heading away. But I guess any lives lost in a lie is disgusting which goes for all the other bogus wars.

8. Keep in mind in the Gulf of Tonkin incident it was the Navy who lied to the President

On two different Occasions the Navy informed the President that our ships were under attack, when they were not. President Johnson took action based on those lies that were told to him.
