This is so reminiscent of the run-up to Iraq. The righteous indignation of the "crimes" being committed against civilians populations in a nation that truly is none of our business. If it is that atrocious, let the UN lead the charge. Not England, Not Amurika, not "France" not Russia, China or any other militarized oilized nation.
At lease in this run-up you don't have a Secretary Of state giving such damning evidence such as: We know where the WMDs are: Tikrit, to the north, south east and west somewhere abouts maybe probably.
"You don't want the "proof" to be a mushroom cloud!" You are either with us or against us! WHY DO YOU HATE AMERICA!!!!!
I pray no one in the Obama Administration trots out a DRAWING of a gas storage trailer as iron-clad proof of their existence in lieu of an actual, oh I don't know, Spy satellite photograph Bush-co failed to produce for Iraq!

(35,392 posts)this president will get ALL the blame, instead of how the previous "I'm the Decider" pResident has nearly everybody in the "liberally-biased media" toeing the line that ... "Dems voted for it, too!".
Gee, did "I'm the Decider" ever make any decision tougher than jelly or no jelly on his peanut butter sammich?

(13,142 posts)It reminded me of the run-up to the Iraq War. The tumbling path. The relentlessness of the downward spiral of the leaf, dropping like a MOAB. The grass as symbol for widespread misinformation. It's all there.

(6,232 posts)There should be no debate.
We need a new sensational story soon to move Syria out of the news cycle. Miley Cyrus is SO last week.
May I suggest something involving One Direction or Taylor Swift? They both seem more popular than they should be.

(9,186 posts)you'd think we would have more coverage of homeless camps in America being closed down. The protests in towns by AMERICANS who feel sooo endangered when a homeless camp location is proposed.
Do you know how many school children in YOUR home town are homeless? the hypocritical coverage and outrage is, itself, an outrage.
Our "Christian Government" accuses and demonizes homeless and jobless, the Asian, black, "Muslim" and the fucking goober republicans parrot every single talking point as they drool down the front of their shirts while waving the American and the Gadsden flag.
The men, women and children sleeping in shrubs under a freeway in cold, driving rain shivering and hungry are not a concern, they brought it upon themselves through genetics or simple laziness.
What this nation is doing to it's civilian population is just as bad as Syria, we're just not using WMD's to do it. We're using Jesus Christ via the Republican party.
