Good thing that whole families get blown up - it would be just awful if a sensitive parent had to spend the afternoon trying to pick up the bit and pieces of their child. Better that the neighbors have to try and separate the parent bits from the child bits. Unless the neighbors are sensitive - that sucks, of course.
For them, that is. Not so much for us, since we're not there and we don't have to look at the pictures. We can just talk about how all those "precision strikes at military targets" are sure showing that evil dictator a thing or too . . . without having to worry about lost American lives, of course.

(17,055 posts)Syrian children being gassed. So I predict that if we see such a video there will be denial. We will just shrug, turn our heads and avoid talking about such an atrocity. We have to kill children in order to save children.

(2,670 posts)Sadly theres nothing thats gonna come out of syria good as far as the death of civilians. I guess its a matter of which your willing to tolerate. Personally I can't tolerate either but I'd rather the blood of children not be on my countries hands any more than it is

(12,606 posts)If the USA causes Syrian collateral damage (aka demise of non-military targets) in an air strike or surgical attack I just hope that they appreciate the military expenditures the USA is making in order to free them.
If they remember anything at all in their last few moments it is that the USA cares about them dearly.
