Look at the polls. We have no elected representation anymore.

board! There is a patriotic fervor that always happens at the beginning of these things. I would say we will see polls of 60% or higher saying they are all for it, if this military action commences. Give it time.

The American people are war weary. Finally I think we have reached the point of resignation. We will pay steep prices to secure our oil supply so that we can continue to pay steep prices at the pump. It is our destiny. At least it is the way the mechanisms of our world have been designed.

If you believe this is about the children, let's talk about the children in Chad. I fail to understand how a Syrian child's life is priced for protection by bombs while another is priced at -- what child? Expendable and unimportant.

There is a big air base here and I live close to it, so if there had been any military enthusiasm, I'd certainly have heard it yesterday when I was out and about.

Most people are disgusted and want no part of it.

I remember watching the "Shock and Awe" campaign and thinking that we had gone off the deep end. It was like watching a sporting event complete with "Play By Play" and Color Commentary"

Seems the news channels just can't wait for the next "big game".

I've never been more repelled, before or since.

Fox news went all out. It stole al Jazeera's live video feed, cut the sound on it so Fox alone was doing the play by play, and overlayed a 10/20% transparency of the Star Spangled Banner waving in the wind over the image.
No doubt it's still up on youtube - if anyone has the stomach to relive the glory.

I won't be watching the warmongering MSM video feeds of the Syria bombings.
