Obama allies plead for him to address the nation on Syria

http://www.nbcnews.com/video/nightly-news/52919507/#52919507

Link here to a Chuck Todd video. Pressure is mounting from Congressional Dems for President Obama to address the nation via an oval office address or perhaps even a joint session on Syria. This would be a good idea imo.

I am no conservative and I voted for Obama twice. The President can talk to the nation whenever he wants, however long he wants and as often as he wants. I DO NOT SUPPORT this aggression and I never will. Nothing can change my mind!! I am deeply disappointed in this behavior coming from the man who brought me so much hope for this country.

What the hell was that on Saturday, if not "addressing the nation"? I guess if he's not in the Oval Office, it doesn't count???? I really wish Schmuck Todd would just go away. He is one of the most useless, stupid people on the planet.

Does anyone really think he took it to Congress because he thought they'd pass it?

I suspect he was trying to both stall and pass the buck at the same time.

I gave them my red line. I will not vote for anybody who votes yes to attack Syria.

And asked them to explain how mass killing by sarin is more obscene than mass killing by missile strike, drone, daisy cutter, napalm, agent orange, white phosphorus or depleted uranium.

Also I thought al al Qaeda was our enemy, so why do we want to help our enemy? Or are they only our enemy when it's convenient?

And so on.

Still waiting for an answer.
