Bloody Hands Behind Kerry-Democracy Now says this has gone VIRAL on YouTube

(I haven't seen this posted on DU (maybe I missed it) but I did see the pictures of Code Pink ejected from the Senate Intel Hearings. I didn't know that the House Intel Hearings had allowed the Code Pink Activists to stand throughout Kerry's whole presentation with the "Bloody Hands" behind him (sorry that the two links seem to be RW sites...but Democracy Now's, Amy Goodman reported on her show that they stood behind Kerry throughout his whole hearing without being thrown out.

Code Pink protesters hold faux-bloody hands behind Kerry at house Syria Hearing

On Wednesday, Secretary of State John Kerry testified before the House Committee on Foreign Affairs over possible military action against Syria. As he testified, members of the antiwar group Code Pink held up their hands, which had been painted red to signify bloody hands. They also wore signs reading "US Out of Syria."

Kerry's history as an antiwar protester during the Vietnam War propelled him to political office originally. After supposedly throwing away his war medals - an account he went back and forth regarding during his 2004 presidential run - and slandering American troops as war criminals in Vietnam during the infamous Winter Soldier hearings, Kerry has now become the hawkish proponent of military action against the Assad regime.

After a Code Pink protester disrupted Kerry's Senate testimony on Tuesday, Kerry stated, "The first time I testified before this committee when I was 27 years old, I had feelings very similar to that protester. And I would just say that is exactly why it is so important we are all here, having this debate, talking about these things before the country. And that the Congress itself will act representing the American people. And I think we all can respect those who have a different point of view, and we do."

not standing. This is the very same action they took during the Bush years -- they were allowed to stay then, too, so long as they didn't disrupt.

I hadn't seen the "Bloody Hands" until Amy's report this a.m. I didn't realize they were allowed to stay in the House Intelligence appearance by Kerry but Medea was Ejected from the Senate Intelligence Hearing the day before.

I wondered why it wasn't posted here on DU that "this" protest was allowed to stand behind Kerry in the HOUSE while Medea was ejected from the Senate Hearing.

The "evidence" he presented in his Case for WAR was less convincing
than Colin Powell's cartoons & lies.

Its a shame he tarnished his legacy with this.

that he wanted to TRASH the LEFT that WE thought he belonged to.

It's a terrible puzzle to go through to try to understand what our Democrats are even Promoting and What they are About!

I have no idea. Our Dems seem like Repugs but the Repugs are snakes trying to put through Rand Paul as if he's Ross Perot running against Clinton and Bush.

He said: NAFTA WILL CAUSE A GREAT SUCKING SOUND for JOBS OUT OF AMERICA"

I thought he was a FOOL at the TIME... Now I'm not so sure that his message wasn't a "Wake Up Call" even though those TEXAS FOOLS are WHAT THEY ARE...and NOT to be Trusted for ANYTHING!

What terrible times we live in for those of us who lived through the 60's early 70's and we get HIT with this STUFF to SAVE "Humankind" Once Again!

There were dead civilians in Iraq too
That isn't the point (and you know that).
How is creating MORE Dead Civilians going to help?
Do you know how many Dead Civilians we created in Iraq?
Do you know how many Dead Civilians we created in Libya?

NOBODY has presented PROOF that Assad was behind this atrocity,
and the administration admits that they have NO PROOF.
The little that is leaking out today about their "evidence" is laughable.

The Lesson from Iraq is that we can NOT trust our Intelligence Agencies to tell us, OR Congress, the TRUTH.
These are the same people who "Stove Piped" the intelligence on WMD in Iraq.

But the MAIN point is that nobody has defined HOW dropping an American Made Shock & Awe (however "limited&quot into this mess in Syria is going to produce a GOOD outcome.
It is certainly NOT a matter of our National Security, as Kerry tried to insist on Tuesday,
and the LAST thing we want to do is empower Al Qaeda and the other radical Islamist Factions (or as you call them, "The Rebels&quot ,
as we did in Libya.

Out of Senate Hearings (with a "chuckle under chin from Kerry of "I REMEMBER WHEN I WAS YOU"

Yet, later Code Pink (according to Amy on DN...the Protest with RED BLOOD HANDS stood behind Kerry for His Whole House Tesitimony and MSM only reported on Media being Ejected and Few Reported on the HOUSE PROTEST.

much Media Play...I thought that was odd. It was more important to show Media being dragged out in Senate Hearing than to show the "Silent Bloodstained Gloves" behind Kerry for the HOUSE Intel.

I thought it was kind of odd... but, that's just me. Anyway "Democracy Now" did report it...So...it got GOOD VIEWS.

's ....it's all we can hope for these days....

He deserved that Code Pink trashing...when he relies on "Curveball" Type Info.

Shame on him. He didn't have his staff do any research before he shot his mouth off.
