I'd be looking for a new line of work.

Our elected officials can ignore numbers like that at their own risk.

Some congress people have been reporting up to 250:1 against in phone calls. This is going to be a true test of how much the war party (composed of both R and D) can ignore public opinion and just do what it wants.

I think if Obama does go through with this without the House supporting it he is in grave danger of being voted for impeachment in the house. The Senate would never convict him, but what a circus.

Unless they try to impeach the president over something trivial. This kind of unilateral war power of the President is something they very much want to keep in place for the next Repub president.

If that doesn't keep you up all night... :p

But a big response like this tells you that there is a large and motivated group of people out there that don't want more war. Furthermore, these results are consistent with what scientifically conducted polls have found - there is a large majority against military action.
