I have as much regard for the NFL as I do for NCAA football, which is to say absolutely none. I'm tired of that asshole commissioner prattle on about how much of a priority player safety is when the league has been pressing for 18 games and gives us Thursday games every week. I'm tired of these stupid new rules, especially "defenseless receiver." I'm tired of the league using threats and their army of lawyers to go after after innocent fans who put a picture or logo in their blogs with obviously no intent to turn a profit or steal business from the league. I'm tired of it all. I see the NFL as a slick bunch of corporate assholes who have way too many people converted to their religion.

If a team has to win the Super Bowl, and I suppose one does, I say let it be Chicago because Marc Trestman is their coach and we Als fans haven't forgotten those recent Grey Cups, but the flat-out truth is that I don't give a shit. Give me the CFL any day, even if the talent is second-rate.

Sorry for the rant, I'm just so over the NFL (a league I loved once) that I couldn't hold back.
