Since the President will be lying, and since there's only one correct answer to the question of what to do in Syria, there's no real point in watching his speech, so here are some other choices (nb - I'm assuming the speech will be at 8 PM Eastern):
A&E: Storage Wars
Animal Planet: Hero Dogs of 9/11
Discovery: Amish Mafia
ESPN: World Cup Qualifier - US vs Mexico
History Channel: Pawn Stars
MTV: Teen Mom 3

I'll be listening to good music and I'll read it later.

(40,416 posts)Lens flares don't make one creative. The Enterprise looked like it was filmed in a fucking brewery... Wait! It WAS filmed in a brewery. (With appropriate Budweiser product placement.)
Then there's these minor issues:
Officer love affair with underling while on duty would be court martial offense in any service. Cadet promoted to captain over all others of rank would mean rebellion in the ranks. 17 year old as a bridge officer. Then there's Star Trek's Jar Jar Binks, Keenser.
Abrams sucks.
I did like that he made Enterprise a bit of a hot rod though.
I didn't see the sequel in the theaters. But I'll rent it when it hits the local video store. I'll have plenty of martini fixings in case I want to just get drunk.

(5,105 posts)Perhaps I'm totally naive, but I believe he really does think we should do something about a nation's leader gassing his own citizens.
Or maybe he's the naive one. Still, he's the president, and I respect him, but disagree. Perpetual war as people here starve if fucked up.
