The President's choice for the hard fight

I can't help but think about this. The President has his reasons for wanting to intervene in Syria, and there is no reason at all to think they are anything other than honorable. It is being reported that 1500 or so people have died in gas attacks in that country and maybe it is reasonable to presume that a hundred thousand more will die if nothing is done. So the President choses to put up the hard fight. In fact this is the hardest I've seen him fight for anything. One wonders how many lives would be saved in this country if he had fought this hard for single-payer; more than he will ever save in Syria I'd wager.
