It is not just Republicans who oppose his insanely stupid and destructive plan for Syria, the large majority of Americans across the political spectrum oppose it. In fact the most recent poll I saw showed more Democrats opposing it than Republicans, although Republicans certainly oppose it in big numbers as well. Obama needs to back off now, we don't want the shit sandwich he is trying to sell us. I predict when his next poll numbers come out his approval rating will have dropped by double digits, he is going to lose a lot of people who voted for him over this.
