Why is the US Open tennis final the only grand slam with

all this jingoistic rubbish. Why can't folks just play tennis as they do in Australia, France and England. This is an international event.

Because at Wimbledon there there was NO investment in Murray's win.

I promise you that the next time a French citizen looks likely to win in France, it will make the local press. This isn't a specifically American thing.
