But, the WH admitted today that it is down to "common sense" that Assad did it.

I do think he is lying about the stated objectives, that the planned strikes will meet those objectives, that the strikes will not affect the civil war, and everything that will come after.

But he's got the biggest job in the world, so I think he'll be able to handle the criticism. This stuff is far, far more important than any small-scale pouting, so you're probably not going to get much satisfaction. There's a war about to start. Your feelings will have to take a back seat.
