Republican Strategist: "It Feels Like A Political Death March."

“This is going to be a long, drawn-out marathon. It feels like a political death march.”

"Everyone can breathe a sigh of relief and Romney gets a little momentum heading into next week, but it doesn't change much," Republican strategist Ron Bonjean said. "This is going to be a long, drawn-out marathon. It feels like a political death march."

that Romney would have lost MI if Ricky had kept his big mouth shut and not dissed President Kennedy. The "Reagan Democrats" would have gone for him but they love Kennedy more than most of their own family members so it was a big turn-off.

Republicans have got such bad candidates that even their OWN LOYAL SUBJECTS are disillusioned by them.

I can't help it. I'm delighted to see their ideology be defeated by it's own "champions".

Their agenda is so anti working class and middle class and only benefits the 1%. People are starting to wake up. Also the social media can now be used to expose their lies. They can not go to one group and say one thing and then go to another group and say something else.

I'll plead ignorance of backroom politics here, but isn't it their strategy that's killing them?

So why does the strategist wring his hands, rather than tell them their strategy is wrong? Isn't that his job?

An effective strategy would be to go left, tell voters that they'll protect the middle class, then Koch them after they're in office. It's worked before.
