A congressional candidate running as a Republican in the upcoming Illinois primary says the “Holocaust never happened.”

Arthur Jones, 64, a Lyons, IL, insurance salesman who organizes family-friendly, neo-Nazi events around Adolph Hitler’s birthday, hopes to be the Republican candidate chosen to run against Democratic Congressman Dan Lipinski in Illinois’ 3rd Congressional District.

“As far as I’m concerned, the Holocaust is nothing more than an international extortion racket by the Jews,” Jones said. “It’s the blackest lie in history. Millions of dollars are being made by Jews telling this tale of woe and misfortune in books, movies, plays and TV.

Except that isn't remotely true. There is the Israel/Palestine forum, where the only threads locked are because they violate the SOP of that group. There is the newly created Middle East group, which only has one lock because it violated the SOP and was requested to be moved to the I/P forum. There is a thread in LBN right now on page one about Israel. This is the same for all of the major forums. There are SCADS of posts about Israel in GD, almost NONE have been locked or have hidden posts.

Here is the really interesting fact, is that in threads that have nothing to do with Israel, such as this one, we get posts bemoaning the state of DU and the supposed inablity to critize Israel. It is as if people look for threads which may relate to Jewish concerns, but it paints the Jews as victims/sympathetic, such as posts about the Holocaust or anti-Semitism or hate crimies against Jews, then take it upon themselves to post something about the evils of Israel or how it is "illegal" to "talk bad" about Israel on DU.

What's up with that?
