The poster is pointing out that under the same rules (which obviously don't apply because Zimmerman isn't black), his father-in-law would have been justified in shooting him for the "life threatening injury."

Same thing, if "a bloody nose" is a life threatening injury - his father-in-law should have killed him.
In self defense, of course.

(951 posts)As I understand it, GZ said he felt his life was threatened by multiple factors. I don't agree, and I think he is a lying POS, but one punch to the nose as the only factor? With stand your ground, maybe he would had grounds to do so. But I don't think it would under these circumstances.
