Look for Weiner to take a "political analyst" job on one of the cable news channels. lpbk2713 Sep 2013 #11

But he just couldn't stop. He's ruined a putatively promising political career. He has a passion, but apparently for something other than what most would consider to be politics.

Buh-bye, Anthony "Wiener" Weiner"

I answered "not sure" because I think he could get it together, potentially, assuming he has the capacity to control his appetites. Which is a pretty big assumption in his case.

I don't necessarily like the guy on a personal level - to be honest I feel bad for his (quite attractive, not that it matters) wife - and there are a few issues on which I disagree strongly with him, but I won't deny that he's a gifted politician. You don't get as far as he has, certainly not with such obvious character flaws, unless you are.

where is his family and friends to let him make such a fool of himself.

he knew he didn't have a chance to win mayor and yet he went out there selling his stupidity.

Oiy. Gotta feel some sorry for the guy, he's messed up big time.
