Video of Florida police brutality as cops break woman's cheekbone

A video has surfaced showing Florida police officers slamming a 44-year-old woman onto the hood of a police car and then onto the ground with such force that she suffered a broken orbital bone in her face, a bloody nose and multiple other injuries.

The video - recorded by a dashboard camera inside a Tallahassee police cruiser and obtained by Tallahassee.com - begins with officers asking Christina West, a mother of two, to perform a field sobriety test. Following the test, she is handcuffed and placed into the back seat of a patrol car.

Several minutes later, one officer explains to another - who appears to be in training - how to formally request that West take a breathalyzer test. That officer then opens the door of the police cruiser where West is being held, asks her to take the test, and she agrees.

He orders her out of the police car and as she exits, she begins asking questions about her husband and her kids.

The officers order her to be quiet and a struggle ensues. About three seconds later, two loud smacks can be heard as her head appears to hit the police vehicle.

I used to sail my boat to Fl before the Martin case and assorted other incidents. Now I sail elsewhere. The state obviously doesn't need my money. The marinas there are like RW strongholds of craziness.

7. Having arrested numerous drunk drivers

these officer's fucked up completely. Excessive force is obvious in the video and the picture after is damning. From what little I was able to see initially... there was no reason to take it in that direction at all. The one officer should never work in a position of power again, and should face charges.
