Kenya finds huge water reserve - hide it folks- hide it from the imperialists!

http://www.itv.com/news/story/2013-09-09/kenya-aquifer-disovered-in-lotikipi-by-unesco/#potential-significance-of-discovery-cannot-be-overstated_34594
<snip>

Aquifer has 25 times more water than Loch Ness

The water reserve discovered in Kenya is one of the largest aquifers in Africa - here is a look at how large it is:

The pool is so large you could pour Loch Ness into it approximately 25 times.

The aquifer is approximately 100 km (62 miles) by 66 km (41 miles).
It contains an estimated 200 billion cubic metres of fresh water.
Lotikipi alone holds 900% more than Kenya's current water reserves.
It has a surface area of 4,164 km2.

A reserve that holds enough water to meet all of Kenya's needs for 70 years has been discovered, ITV News can reveal.

the only variable is which multi-national corporation gets to control the aquifer, because it sure as hell isn't going to be the country of Kenya.

Almost impossible to imagine an aquifer 25 times that size!

One of the World Bank's villainous strategies has been to try to control local water as a condition for loans, by requiring privatization of water utilities, such as making it a crime for people to collect rainwater on their rooftops & forcing them to buy all their water from a for-profit private utility. Good luck Kenya!
