located in their living rooms and watch the talking heads tell them so.

If it was on the tee-vee, it must be true.

FOX, NBC, CBS, ABC they are all part of it, some worse than others but they are accomplices

A freakin name and quote of who you are talking about in order to support what you write, can't be that hard to find.

I would turn it around a little to turn it into a clear AMERICAN issue and not one that could be mistaken as partisan.

Why are 150,000,000 American's being denied the opportunities they deserve so that the wealth of the nation can be siphoned off to a few hundred very wealthy individuals?

Recounting how someone in his village went away for a little while, to another town across the border.

And the Germans came in, in one of their blitz krieg maneuvers and and for a few weeks then they treated everyone in the town very nicely.

Then there was an overnight change in attitude, and the Germans called for everyone who was Jewish to get ready to pack up and leave. And the Jewish people who complied were all marched outside the town, and shot dead.

This man escaped death somehow, and then returned to his original village, where Wiesel lived. He frantically told everyone about what had happened. But none of the Jewish people accepted what they were being told. It was just beyond their comprehension that such an abomination would occur. Even given their past history with pogroms, they wouldn't accept what this poor man was trying to tell them.

So they went about their lives and in a short matter of time, the Germans occupied their town too. They were treated in exactly the same manner, as the man who had witnessed earlier events had reported. Except not everyone was killed. Some people ended up in camps like Auchwitz.

But they had been given the warning - it was just the that the warning was beyond their comprehension.

some seem "beyond comprehention"

What if some one said that the Repubs and bog business were
slowly setting things up so that more of the wealth would be channeled to the upper 1%.

Back in the 90's used to ask why the corporate leadership was
still getting bonuses when they were downsizing the company.
Why do they get more money for failing?
This is still going on today even after we have the data charted to show that the corporate leadership has increased their income by 420% and banks and oil companies are earning record profits.

Where's the share for the middle class?

that was when people were tought to respect elders.

Heck I grew up in the 50's and I remember
kids were to be seen and not heard.
respect elders
respect police
respect clergy
respect parents

Go back to Wiesel's day and you get people from the farmstrusting that people from the city know more and are more savvy.

It's a shame that today I don't trust anyone in power until they earn it. But it's safer that way and look at all the scams we have to protect against.

Now, let's rebuild the country and get on the right path
before we turn into one of those places where everyone carries a gun and stands around a 55 gal drum burning wood to keep warm.

You think those in the 70th to 90th percentile want to share with the bottom 10%? Most of them don't.
