(11,489 posts)I'm NE of Denver. We got a ton of rain yesterday and are on flood watch, but nothing like what you guys are getting.
Very weird weather for Colorado.

(16,377 posts)I work in Longmont but wasn't feeling well and called in this morning. Since then they've closed all the roads into and out of Longmont. Soooo glad I didn't get stuck there!

(16,377 posts)We usually receive around 13 inches of moisture a year in these parts. Within the last 48 hours we've gotten seven inches. No one has seen anything like this--EVER. The Big Thompson River is threatening to flood as I type. Much more rain on the way.

Summer thunderstorms can be quite the mixed blessing along the Front Range.
