21% of eligible voters participated in recall election in Colorado.

Republicans (NRA) out-voted Democrats 11% to 10%.

By contrast, Pueblo had 35% turnout.

However, Pueblo kept their polls open about 4 days longer. And Pueblo is usually a very strong union, Democratic town, but more Republicans turned out in Pueblo and less Democrats turned out in Colorado Springs.

There is no doubt but that the decision not to permit mail in ballots affected the turnout. If 15% of Democrats had turned out to vote in Colorado Springs, John Morse probably would have won the election?
