--because of how dangerous we are, how would Americans react? And why do so many expect others in the world to not have the same kind of human reactions.

China and Russia have nukes aimed at us. We have nuke subs from these countries off of our coasts.

I'm sure a tiny percentage, rich and powerful around the world, are glad that the good ol' US of A is looking out for their interests, but for the rest of the world's inhabitants, our military capabilities represent the possibility of sudden death and destruction.
