Kitty haiku and successful diplomacy

Grace personified,
I leap into the window.
I meant to do that.

Anyone who thinks that massive public opposition to military action both here and around the world had nothing to do with the recent Syria WMD diplomacy is delusional. Naturally it helps a lot to have an adult president willing to consider this factor and take immediate advantage of an opportunity for a peaceful solution. Spoiled preening macho brats like 43 would never have done it.

THAT was different.

Seriously, walking in circles and making speeches - personally, i think the difference between Bush and Obama has less to do with the "peace people making a difference" and more to do with the fact one WANTED a war while the other wanted the problem of Assad having chemical weapons solved.

My opinion. YMMV.
