.... he is O.K. but where he works was under lock down today but what really chaps
my ass is that right now the NRA is holding meetings on how to "handle and manage
this problem."

I wasn't thinking about the shooting till I got a call from my folks telling me my brother is fine but
his base was under "lock down" and then I found out the # of people killed.

BTW talked to my brother and the shooter might have had a pass that allowed him to
got onto any military base in the country.

God damn it is the guns* .... end of story. FUCK THE NRA

4. The "pass" is most likely a Common Access Card.

In DoD at least it's just a government issued ID that confirms one is a DoD affiliate of some sort, such as Active Duty Military, DoD Civilian, Military Dependent, Government Contractor or whatever.

Waiting to hear if my sister knew anyone as she has had temporary assignments at the Navy Yard 3 times now. Least I knew she wasn't there while this was happening. I'm waiting to hear if he owned his guns legally because if he did it is another case of a legal gun owner going on a shooting spree to throw in the NRA's face. In the meantime time yes, fuck the NRA. I'm sick of them and their excuses for why and how legally purchased guns are being used to kill so many so often.
