Another Monday, another madman with a weapon. What else is there to say, Truthseeker? We posted a long list last Monday of shooting deaths over that last weekend. Here’s a fresh batch of gunfire and smoke to greet us this week.
This is from today’s Chicago Tribune:
At least one gunman opened fire at the U.S. Navy Yard in Washington, D.C, this morning, killing several people and injuring others, authorities said.
One hospital received three shooting victims — a man and two women. The man is a D.C. police officer, said Janis Orlowski of Medstar Washington Hospital Center. She said all three victims were alert and speaking. She said their chances of survival were “very good.”
Orlowski said it was a “very fluid situation” and more shooting victims would be coming to Medstar.
She said there were other shooting victims at the Navy Yard who would not be transported to hospitals because they are “deceased.” She did not have a number of the fatalities.
Orlowski said the weapon or weapons used in the shooting “had to be semi-automatic,” based on descriptions by the three people admitted at Medstar. She said they described rapid gunfire at the Navy Yard.
A D.C. police spokesman said five people had been shot at the Naval Sea Systems Command headquarters, including a D.C. police officer and one other law enforcement officer.
I have nothing else to add, Truthseeker. We will discuss our deadly love affair with deadly weapons on the program, as well as why the Neocons in Congress are so dedicated to ending social programs in this country.

OUR NEW STRETCH GOAL: If we can reach the stretch goal of $60,000 we’re going to be able to triple the number of cameras in the new studio. This means multiple angles of Mike but it also means something even more exciting. It means that we’ll be able to have a camera just for Kathy. A “Kathy Cam!” Now you can see her in her sweats, eating yogurt, while juggling phone calls, music levels, commercials, and a camera switcher!

Took forever to find the thread! Hoping that everyone is well. Must turn in early tonight as the youngest must be on the campus of Chatt State at 7:30 am, and our annual fundraising dinner, the Kefauver Dinner is tommorrow night. Hoping that the dinner will be a great success!
