There's a new republican alternative to Obamacare!

http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/U/US_GOP_HEALTH_CARE?SITE=SCAND&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT

People with pre-existing conditions who are likely already struggling to survive are expected to pay double what everyone else does in high risk pool health insurance. Individuals get to deduct $7500 from their income and payroll taxes for insurance premiums and families get to deduct $20,000. Did income tax deductions suddenly become refundable?

This comes as no surprise: "Officials said the legislation contains no provision to assure insurance coverage for millions of lower-income Americans who are scheduled under current law to be enrolled in Medicaid, a state-federal health care program for the poor."

That because my yearly pap smear and mammogram was covered by the ACA I was the reason her premiums were going up ( even though we have insurance through my husbands job)

Gee, guess what will happen first. Premiums will immediately double.
This plan will cause more deficits. No way to pay for the tax breaks.

It is a sickness, being a Republican..
