I came across a VIDEO of The Congressional Luncheon Honoring Augusto Odone (Lorenzo's father), which Robert Michel attended, stood up, and spoke - at the 35:08 minute mark in the video below...

In the above video (beginning at the 35:08 minute mark in the video above) Mr. Robert Michel states that during his time in The U.S. House was the first person to persuade The Congress to fund 10 MILLION dollars toward the research of Cystic Fibrosis.

You have a good point, some Rep. are doing the best they can to make a difference. They are not all the same.

Dana Perino is another example of a Rep.who actively seeks to improve the lives of others. imo.
