Crocodile takes to Mexico's flooded streets

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-latin-america-24159952

Tropical Storm Manuel, which has wrought havoc in the west of the country, has strengthened into a Category-One hurricane.

The storm has already caused widespread flooding and loss of life in Mexico's western states, while Hurricane Ingrid has caused severe disruption in the eastern states along the Atlantic.

It tastes just like crocodile, I'm sure. Like chicken? I don't know. I guess it depends on how it's prepared and seasoned.

Not sure they'd enjoy a change to get eaten themselves and then get arrested if they survive.

not endangered and some hunting does take place. In any case, needs must, so in times of difficulty, I'm a believer in eating what presents itself. That croc could feed a small village, all by itself. Or eat a small village, I suppose, if the situation were reversed.

I can guarantee you it's illegal to kill it in Mexico.

That croc is about 7 feet long, probably weighs 120 lbs.

Right now, though, I doubt that the authorities are looking for crocodile eaters to arrest. People don't always obey the law, I've observed, especially when they need food. If I were that croc, I'd be looking for a way out of town.
