I guess it's okay for the government to mandate the ultra-invasive transvaginal ultrasound when a woman wants to exercise her right to reproductive autonomy, but if a young woman wants to enroll in the exchange, she suddenly has a really, really creepy Uncle Sam show up in the exam room to administer her annual pap test. So, which is it, Republicans? Government involved in your healhcare good? Or bad? I'm having trouble following you.

It's your money (well, their money, as they see it) they fear will be trifled with.
All part of the feeling that one is part of the privileged class. No one will send their sons to a pointless war or jail their daughters for ending an unwanted pregnancy -- their money will protect them from that.
But taxation or government social programs might -- gasp -- apply to everyone equally.
Unacceptable!
