Never forget about Katrina. History will not be kind to GWB for this.

- Bush's quiet acceptance of thugs roaming the streets and hurting people, rather than making a serious attempt to restore law and order.

- Packing storm refugees into a stadium with no law and order, further allowing thugs to victimize those who already lost everything. Another half-ass effort that got more people killed. This is further proof how little of a shit they gave about the people of New Orleans.

- NOPD executing people in the streets, including that mentally handicapped man on that bridge.

- Bush's nonchalant "fly-over," a.k.a doing the bare minimum he could do.

- Barbara Bush's insinuation that people who had their homes destroyed, were being raped and killed, and had very little food to eat were "better off" than before the storm. This incredibly stupid quote tells you how much the Bushes really cared.

- Bush's praising of his dumbass crony, "Brownie," who fucked up so bad that it was truly historical.

- the fact that volunteers were miles ahead of FEMA in distributing aid and were much better at it.

- And worst of all, the complete and utter unwillingness to admit blame. It was truly mind-blowing.

History should not be kind to GWB for Katrina alone. Truly one of the biggest US government mismanagements in history. Worse yet, it was totally avoidable had the Bush Administration showed even an ounce of caring. They did not.

(Poor Neil and Marvin... so many Bushes, so few states dumb enough to elect them governor.)

She was working the crowd at the Astrodome, where "things were working out pretty well for them". She asked a nine-year-old African American boy what his favorite color was. He puffed out his chest and replied, "My favorite color is black!"

Babs' response: "Black isn't a color, stupid."

Stupid? Srsly? Correcting a nine-year-old is classless enough, but "stupid"?!

They turned down offers by Greyhound and Trailways to transport people out.

They slowed the counting of the dead so it wouldn't impact the Bush administration during his time in office.

The list is long.

I work 12 hour night shifts and watched that horror unfold in real time......I'll never forget a couple of days into it seeing a little girl huddled on a bridge with her family, in desperate need of rescue.......I thought, Duyba says he wants to bring democracy to the world but he can't get a little girl off a bridge in Louisiana......I also called a local TV station in absolute disgust at hearing those folk escaping to Texas referred to as refugees.......THEY'RE IN LOUSIANA, THEY'RE OUR NEIGHBORS!!!! I shouted
