At the gym and watched CNN/FOX report during the vote for the defunding of Obama Care.
CNN actually did a very good job (maybe they got stung from JS lambasting on Monday). They used the entire hour and reported and interviewed key Democrats and Republicans and kept asking the latter "how is this different from the other 41 times you tried to do it?".
On FOX?
Nada. They showed a 30 second bare bones report on the vote and spent the hour on other pressing topics.
What was the number one topic: Should MDs moderate chemotherapy doses for obese patients. It took 15 minutes of reporting (exactly following the key time of the vote) to repeatedly ask Doctors if it wasn't better to factor weight in when calculating Chemo doses.
We then saw a tribute to a fallen Seal, one clinic in Ohio that is reducing its budget because of Obama care and a dozen unrelated low ball reports.
Apparently they haven't decided if they are going to follow Cruz or Rove on whether or not really shutting down the government is a good idea or not. I would guess that means that they already know that the Republicans are going to fold on Thursday next week and don't want to make too big a deal out of Republicans backing down, again, to the President.
