They need to give it a rest.

Obama won, Putin had to put his puppet in check.

Get over it.

Actually, the column is about violence in Chicago.

Did you read it?

Families of gunfire death victims, be it in the US or Syria, just don't "get over it."

It really is worth reading.

He hired a fancy PR firm and it sure worked for him.

(Reuters) - In April 2011, then-Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin was asked an unusually flattering question by an American journalist: "Are you the coolest man in politics?"

The interview, which ran on the website of Outdoor Life magazine, was set up by Ketchum Inc., the U.S. public-relations firm that has worked to burnish Russia's image since 2006.

On Thursday, Ketchum scored another public-relations coup: It helped place a Putin commentary in opinion pages of The New York Times, just as representatives from Russia and the United States were beginning to meet in Geneva to negotiate a plan for Syria to give up its chemical weapons.

I do believe the problems of violence in my city are more complicated than getting some politician to magically make it disappear. He is a politician as much as our President is a politician.

Do we want Chicago to be a satrapy of Russia the way Syria is?
