On tv news coverage you'll also see that as some escaped the building their path was blocked by photographers taking picture of them.

I don't see them getting away with this mass murder. Allowing anyone who could recite a Muslim prayer to leave the carnage does not help that particular religions image either.

Hours after the attack began, the Shabab, the ferocious Somali militant group that has been linked to past attacks in Kenya, suggested in a series of Twitter posts that its fighters were responsible for the massacre.

“The attack at Westgate Mall is just a very tiny fraction of what Muslims in Somalia experience at the hands of Kenyan invaders,” one post said.

Others continued: “By land, air and sea, Kenyan forces invaded our Muslim country, killing hundreds of Muslims in the process and displacing thousands more. The Kenyan government, however, turned a deaf ear to our repeated warnings and continued to massacre innocent Muslims in Somalia.” It said it had warned the Kenyan government that failure to remove its forces from Somalia “would have severe consequences.”

Kenya is worried about massive destabiliaztion in Somalia and fears having maniacs like Shabbab gain power.

This kind of violence is becoming too horrible to bear. And it's everywhere, from gangs in our own neighborhoods (the AK-47 assault in a city park here in Chicago this week), to governments (the gassing in Syria), to this (apparent Somali retribution for Kenyan involvement). Not to mention the schools shootings, the marathon terrorism, etc. etc. I am beginning to be unable to stomach much more. It feels like the entire world has gone violent.

I am convinced these types of images would end much of the gun debates in America and our many massacres, they are undeniable.

When I look at these horrible pictures, I am filled with rage. I wish I was there with a gun to shoot back at these killers of little children.

Who were the Kenyan troops targeting in their country.

Islam's borders everywhere are very bloody. It's not like other world religions, which have found a way to harmonize (to some extent) the modern world with faith.

I'm sorry, but saying "killing innocents must stop" doesn't address the real rage at the core of the Islamic faith (or at least that of the "Islamic" teachings many are receiving). I'm not saying Muslims are at heart violent because people are inherently decent, but when fed ridiculous notions of religious supremacy from a young age and raised in a culture of repression and bitterness (while religious leaders constantly find ways of blaming others for the lack of progress), bad things happen.

This isn't the first time this will happen and it won't be the last. While Muslims (like people of all faiths worldwide) have various legitimate grievances - the peculiar propensity of Muslims committing violence toward innocents based on religion cannot be brushed aside.

They said this was done because Kenyan soldiers are killing their people.
An eye for an eye makes the entire world blind.

Do you think the West can kill Muslim and not expect retaliation. Didn't you see this coming? Atrocities are rarely committed by one side.

Most religions are guilty of mass murder because all want to be the only one - it's great for economics. What's going on between the West and Muslim countries today is all about resources - don't be fooled. One more thing - the West are the greatest mass murderers in history.
