Kerry Calls Kenya Attackers Ruthless, Reckless

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Secretary of State John Kerry calls Saturday's assault on at a shopping mall in Kenya's capital "an enormous offense against everybody's sense of right and wrong."

Kerry, who is in New York for meetings at the United Nations, describes the attackers as "ruthless and completely reckless terrorists."

He spoke Sunday with Somalia's foreign minister and U.N. ambassador. The Somalia-based, al-Qaida-linked group al-Shabab has claimed responsibility for the attack on the upscale Westgate Mall in Nairobi.

State Department spokeswoman Marie Harf says U.S. law enforcement, military and civilian personnel in Nairobi are providing advice and assistance to the Kenyan authorities.

Thanks for letting us know that John. Never know nowadays which al-Qaida we are shipping arms to versus the ones that are "ruthless, reckless"...

the US destroyed the emerging social order in Somalia by sponsoring the proxy Ethiopian invasion and then Obama unleashed JSOC to kill whomever they wanted in Somalia and neighboring countries. The area is in chaos thanks to US policy. That's what they wanted, that's what they got. Interminable excuses for military interventions.

It didn't start with Obama, he just made it worse. I'm sure you know more than Scahill does. Your reduction ad absurdum argument doesn't phase me..
