Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon spoke to a number of parliament members from around the world who are affiliated with a pro-Israel lobby and said that "Iranian President Hassan Rohani will lie and deceive in his speech before the UN General Assembly."

Ya'alon further said that "the Iranian regime is the central cause behind the Mideast's instability. The Iranian regime is involved in every conflict through funding, training and arming the battling forces."
